2024 Election Information

 ELECTION DATE:

 November 5, 2024 

A Consolidated General Municipal Election will be held for Two (2) Members of the City Council for the Full term of four years each.

NOMINATION PERIOD:

 The first day to secure Nomination papers is Monday, July 15, 2024.

Nomination papers can be secured at the City Clerk's office, 2060 McHenry Avenue, Escalon. Please call (209) 691-7442 or email [email protected] to schedule an appointment to obtain the nomination packet.

The last day to file completed nomination papers is Friday, August 9, 2024 until 4:00 p.m.

 REGISTER TO VOTE:

The last day to register to vote in the November 5th election is Monday, October 21, 2024. Postmarks, DMV submissions, and elections office deliver/drop-off are acceptable.

LOCAL SERVICES MEASURE:

 The City of Escalon Local Services Measure is a .01 cent sales tax that will take the City’s sales tax rate from 7.75% to 8.75% and generate an estimated $900,000 each year of new revenue for City services that make Escalon a great place to live, work, visit, and invest.
